Greenmount Golf Club was founded in 1920 and has seen much extension and development since. It is an enjoyable, undulating parkland course, situated just 3 miles north of Bury.

Currently, there is no joining fee, and we believe we offer the best value golf package in the Bury and Greater Manchester area.

At 5,824 yards with a par of 70, the course provides a good test for golfers of all levels. Mature trees, streams and thick vegetation add considerable charm to a day’s golf but they are also there to test you! They have been incorporated into the layout so that care and accuracy are demanded on many holes.

Greenmount welcomes all visitors to the club whether it be a friendly four-ball, a Golf Society looking for their next venue, or non-golf events such as Wedding Receptions and Private Functions. (function room hire is free)

Our clubhouse is warm and welcoming and a full catering service is provided.

The members section has been completed, and aims to provided up to date information about current events at Greenmount Golf Club.

Newsletter's will be provided by Mr Captain, Lady Captain and the Junior Secretary.

There is an online diary where you can view and download a copy of the printed version.

The greens committee will be providing continued updates regarding scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activity, reports regarding problems on the course and their plans to remedy them.

Competition results for all sections, including Mens, Ladies, Juniors and Mixed will be continually updated.

Handicap information will be uploaded for all club members.
