Summer is here (hopefully)

Well its the 1st of June and the year is going very quickly!!

We had a very successful Company day in May and my thanks go to all the sponsors, in particular Zac Clarkson and to Ben Horrocks for his hard work in organising everything.

Club trip to Silloth is coming up at the end of the month and there are still some places available if you would like to go. £300.00 for 3 rounds of golf, bed, breakfast and evening meal and prizes!

We are now out of all the manchester and District Alliance competitions, as our team lost 4 - 3 away to Ashton under Lyne. All the matches were hard fought and very close. 3 matches being lost 1 down and the fourth going to the 19th.

Finally, my thanks has to go to our greens committee and our greens staff and the ladies section for our new rockery and flower beds.. Our course is looking fantastic and is probably in the best condition, for this time of year, that I have ever seen it. keep up the good work.
